Thoughts on life, originating in or arising from the intellect or the constitution of the mind of one with fur.

Excerpts from the Cat's Journal

What a day. My my. I started the morning with 150 bats at mother's silk robe tie, as it dangled over the chaise lounge. Then it was on to the rhythmic drips from the gold pedestal sink in the mother-in-law water closet where I proceeded to hit every single drop as it came ever so unpredictably out. I wonder if they have Feline Olympics? Bored with that and with wet paw, I lay in the sunshine to dry off, perfectly balanced on a window ledge the size of a letter opener...even falling into slumber without falling onto the floor. Sigh. Can you do that? Thought not. Ate truffle pâté. Rubbed against the baby grand, giving it a much finer sparkle and shine then it had before I graced it with my fur. I yawned. And yawned again with a subtle hum which could have been mistaken as a fraction of Beethoven's "Pathetique Sonata". Yawned again and turned my nose up at the dog as he waddled by. Can't someone teach him how to walk? Nibbled some cat greens, left just for me. Finished the day by completing my notes on cold fusion.

That wasn't me. I swear.
